Hello, I am Joyce Chen (User:Joycewikiwiki), International Coordinator of Wikimedia Taiwan and a contributor to Wikimedia communities mostly across the ESEAP region. My work focuses on international community relations, partnerships, and knowledge exchange among Wikimedia affiliates and communities.

I joined Wikimedia Taiwan in April 2020. My Wikimedia journey began in 2019 as an art project consultant working on a GLAM initiative related to Wikidata.
At Wikimedia Taiwan, I work on international community relations and partnerships, supporting connections, knowledge exchange, and collaboration between Wikimedia communities, affiliates, and partner institutions across different regions.
Over the years, I have also contributed to several movement-wide and regional initiatives, including Wikimedia Movement Strategy conversations, the ESEAP regional network, and the preparatory work of the ESEAP Hub, where I served in community engagement and coordination roles.
Off wiki, I am a born-digital culture advocate, digital archivist, and time-based media art conservator. I previously led the Save Media Art Project supported by the Digital Art Foundation Taiwan and have collaborated with museums and cultural institutions on the stewardship and preservation of time-based media and digital artworks. In 2022, I received a Fulbright Scholarship to conduct research visits with the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and Rhizome in New York City, focusing on time-based media conservation.
