CULTURE

Open content and open licences can help galleries, libraries, archives and museums increase reach and public benefit. Wikimedia projects collect content in the public domain and with free licenses, allowing citizens better access to culture and knowledge. We will put at disposal a powerful digital platform to show the public your collections, institutional knowledge and experience.

We collaborate with public and private entities and cultural institutions, including galleries, museums, libraries, archives and other organizations to help them realise the potential of openly-licensed content for public benefit, and preserve or spread their funds. In this way we also help them reach new audiences.
