About me

My name is Jan-Hendrik. I'm 21 years old and I live in Cape Town, South Africa, where I attend the University of Cape Town. I'm in my third year studying towards a Bachelor of Arts in Media & Writing and Sociology.

My work

I am active on the English Wikipedia as well as an admin on the Afrikaans Wikipedia. I am a 2026 African Wikipedian Alliance Fellow, supported by Code for Africa and the Norwegian Embassy. As part of this fellowship, I receive a stipend to improve content related to gender equity, LGBTQ+ rights, and democracy in Southern Africa.
