Whereas the Board of Trustees of the Wikimedia Foundation supports workers' legal and human rights, including the right to organize;

Whereas the Board previously committed to staff to establish an ombudsperson representative;

Now, therefore, it is:

RESOLVED, that the Board will work with staff to select an ombudsperson who will report staff concerns, grievances and comments directly to the Board;

RESOLVED, that the Foundation will not engage in any form of union busting; and

RESOLVED, that should staff choose to form a labor union, the Foundation intends to voluntarily recognize it.
