About my user name:
Leseratte is a colloquial (joking) German term for a person who reads a lot. Literally it means reading rat. But there is a twist.
In the early modern period it was usual to feminize the last name of women by adding "in" at the end. For example Maria Sibylla Merian was actually called Merianin. The author Günter Grass used this to alter the name of the protagonist of one of his novels which was a female rat. Thus, in the novel “Ratte” became “Rättin”.
This inspired me to alter "Leseratte" in the same way. And voilà my user name Leserättin was born.
Here's my profile in German Wikipedia: Leserättin.
