Prior to joining WMF, I worked in environmental consulting for six years during which I provided administrative and communications support to engineering teams, planned training workshops, and developed resources to educate the community on environmental remediation technologies and site cleanup efforts. I currently hold a BS in Integrated Science and Technology from James Madison University, where I studied environmental science and energy management. During my career and education, I discovered a strong interest in writing, data analysis, and project management.
I joined the Wikimedia Foundation in April 2015 and currently serve as a Senior Project Coordinator for the Audience and Technology teams. I provide calendar support to the Chief Product Officer. I also work in partnership with the other department coordinators to plan team offsites, brownbags, and onsite meetings that are engaging and meet a diverse set of audience needs. As a project coordinator, I take on assignments and projects covering a wide range of communication and operations support such as updating wiki pages and documentation, gathering data, and identifying new tools and processes to help teams meet their goals and improve internal workflows.
