Wiki Techstorm

Wiki Techstorm is an annual tech event about Wikimedia projects mostly Wikidata, Commons. Experts and newbies join together to share knowledge and work together to advance projects. I have been selected for this year edition and will be attending as an expert participant.

My Goals

As a Wikimedian editing mostly Wikipedia and Mediawiki I would like to take this opportunity to get a deeper technical understanding of Wikidata and Wikimedia commons.

I will also be developing a tool to identify figure skaters on Wikimedia Commons. See details here: https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T223740
