Dr Ngozi E. Osadebe is a librarian and a Wikimedia Organizer Lab participant in the first cohort (2022). She works at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Library, University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) as a Deputy University Librarian. She is a registered member of the Librarians Registration Council of Nigeria (LRCN), Nigerian Library Association (NLA) Enugu state chapter, and Forum for African Women Educationalists, Nigeria (FAWEN), and a volunteer staff of the Children’s Centre Library, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She is the facilitator of her Library's (Nnamdi Azikiwe Library) Art and Feminism Wikipedia edit-a-thon.and Surplus People in the Universities Research Group Art and Feminism Wikipedia Edit-a-thon. Ngozi joined the Wikimedia movement in 2017. Nozi was a participant in the 2022 Wikimedia Foundation Organizer Lab and 2023 African Growth Pilot Project Workshops
Ngozi is a fellow of the Martha Farrel Foundation. In 2016, she won the Prof. M. I Ajibero award for the best Ph.D. thesis from Nigerian Library Schools. The following year 2017, she was awarded an excellent performance award by the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Ngozi has 52 published articles to her credit. Four of these articles are in Thomson Reuters Indexed journals and another four in Scimago. She is the Southeast zone representative of the AuthorAid National Research Hub, Nigeria. Ngozi is the founder and coordinator of the Surplus People in the Universities Research group, a research group that is interested in the area of research on people with disabilities. Ngozi is a regular face at Research and Library & information workshops and conferences.
