About me
I have been editing Wikipedia since May 2020 during covid, but am no expert! I'm still gaining confidence but I'm inspired by the Wiki community every day. I intially got involved with the Wikipedia in African Libraries course and since then i have been more of an advocate for Open Science Movement through Wikimedia projects in my community of Botswana. Professional: I am an academic librarian at one of universities in Botswana. I am passionate about helping to forge connections between knowledge components. I'm particularly interested in the special role that information play in the networked world. Professionally, my home base is research data management ,special collections and digitization and from time to time, insert links or create articles based on library resources. Conflict of interest statement I will not make any edits that would not be beneficial to the goals of Wikipedia,its practices and procedures.. While my editing is sort of all over the map, I do like to improve access to important, free, scholarly sources held in repositories. I always strive to strictly abide by Wikipedia's accepted practices on conflicts of interest, neutrality, and notability.
