I am the current leader of Wugn-Oau Fan Club and since its inception I have been learning about how to contribute to wikipedia and its sister projects. I have participated in and coordinated several wikimedia projects, events and workshops, some of which Include, Nigerian_Wikimedians_for_Sustainable_Development/Wikipedia-SDGs_Campus_Tour_2.0,_OAU_Edition_(July_28_to_19_August,_2023), Osun_Wikipedia_Edit-a-thon_and_Meetup, Art_and_Feminism_online_training_and_edit-a-thon_for_OAU_wiki_community , info-tourism and wellness, Wikipedia awareness in Obafemi Awolowo University, wikidata for tourism in Nigeria, wiki for human rights amongst others.
My major goal is to make sure that the wide content gap is bridged in my country. To achieve this, I aim to raise the awareness of Wikipedia and its sister projects (and other Open projects) as much as possible here in my community so we can get more passionate and active contributers from my country.
