User:RetractionBot

This user account is a bot operated by Samwalton9 (talk). It is not a sock puppet, but rather an automated or semi-automated account for making repetitive edits that would be extremely tedious to do manually.
Administrators: if this bot is malfunctioning or causing harm, please block it.

This is bot is planned to flag sources cited on Wikipedia which have been retracted, by inserting a Retracted template.

If it appears to be malfunctioning and needs turning off across all Wikimedia projects, please edit User:RetractionBot/run to contain any text other than 'yes'. If you do this, I'd appreciate it if you also leave a talk page message explaining the problem. If the bot is only malfunctioning on one project, please find the /run page there to disable the bot locally.
