[edit]My name is Rukayat Ajeigbe. She is an Open Knowlegde Advocate and loves to promote visibility for free knowledge and Information.
About me
[edit]I am a graduate of the University of Ilorin, Kwara State Nigeria where I studied B.Sc. Biochemistry. I joined Wikimedia as a volunteer due to my interest in access open knowledge and advocacy. Editing Wikipedia and contributing to the various Wikipedia sister project is my way to add to the development and access to free information. Being part of Wikimedia as a contributor has allowed me to develop educational content, write, edit and curate content that promotes Wikipedia projects.
As a dedicated contributor to the Wikimedia movement, I actively lead and participate in campaigns designed to amplify African content and scholars on the global stage. My work spans article enhancement and the creation of Wikidata items to bridge knowledge gaps. I am a certified 'Reading Wikipedia in the Classroom' Trainer and a Certified Content Campaign Organizer. I am proud to belong to a community that provides free, vital information to millions of people worldwide.
