Multilingual selection

Thank you. I like it. :-)

I'm not that familiar with how the "multilingual" div class works; will it display the first language based on the user's language preferences (as mine shows the English version on top now) or will it simply show English first for everyone? Dmcdevit 23:50, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

Thanks also

Merci pour le petit message de bienvenue. Ca fait un moment que je rode par ici, mais il n'est jamais trop tard pour faire (se faire) plaisir (mutuellement) ;-) Switch to English As you may have noticed, I'am interested in Share watchlists, Collaborative images and Watchlist Syndication feeds. Here is the very beginning of a Wikipedia Watchlist Visualization project to be discussed, translated and one day maybe exposed on meta?. --OlivierAuber 20:03, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

Welcoming new users

Can you tell me how to welcome new members. To me being friendly is very important. On wikipedia and wikipedia simple english I am a member of Esperanza. On wikipedia I am a member of concordia and the friendliness campaighn. Have a nice week and god bless you and everyone you know.--Sir James Paul 21:26, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for the welcome

Hi Slade,

Thanks for the welcome! Probably you didn't notice that I've been around here since may 22nd, last year :-) Best regards, Tdevries 18:06, 17 December 2006 (UTC)

Haha, same for me, January of 2006 and I just got a welcome.--Josh Rocchio 06:38, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

Your request for account on wmf website

Hello Slade, it was nice to have a sequel of discussions with you yesterday. I would like you to point my personal criteria on my user subpage for your information, too.

In conversation, you hinted me about construction of Translation teams. Would you mind me to cc it to other Spanish editor(s) for letting him to join our discussion? --Aphaia 08:10, 18 December 2006 (UTC)

Admin page

I think that page can be of general interest. You can move, but I recommend putting live links to make easy updates and checks (for instance, some links to the relevant Special:Listusers/sysops of each project). Ciao, M/ 00:01, 24 December 2006 (UTC)

Yes, the title seems good. And thank you for your support. :-) --M/ 00:15, 24 December 2006 (UTC)

Thanks

Thank you, Slade. Merci:)

I was on Board Meta Wikimedia meeting today, and I will be one of the members of MWM.org. Greetings to all.

Btw, I hope that link for my personal page (and introduction) is on the same spot as it is at Wikipedia.

Greeting, Danica Radovanovic 00:28, 24 December 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for the warm welcome, and here is a question…

I just finished translating Fundraising C.O.R.E./ko, but I cannot change the status of the Korean translation (the status page is locked, and I can only view the source).  Is this because I am a new user on a probational period, or am I missing something here? RfA

(posting in English for transparency) As we discussed, I have nominated you for Meta adminship. Please post a formal acceptance at the request page, as well as a note on at least one of your Admin-status userpages on other projects with a confirmation that you are the same "Slade" than the one here on Meta, as required by policy. Cheers, Redux 02:35, 26 December 2006 (UTC)

Welcome to 83.173.243.88

Hi Slade, thanks for the welcome, but actually this was just me who forgot to login when doing a quick edit. Nice to see, though, that every ip gets noticed. --Mbimmler 10:27, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

An answer

For me, it is not offensive, because it is almost completely true. ;) But some other Poles may be offended, as it shows only disadvantages of our nations. Why are you asking? Michał P. 15:05, 30 December 2006 (UTC)

If people are offended or not, it depends on their sense of humour. Majority knows that 'tis joke, but... Well. Deletion request wouldn't be nothing bad. Michał P. 16:39, 31 December 2006 (UTC)

Obrigado
