As an educator specializing in biodiversity, I have always believed in the power of open knowledge to inspire and educate. With this thought in mind, I began contributing to Wikipedia in 2014, realizing that sharing reliable information could extend my classroom beyond its walls. Since then, I have been actively involved in a range of Wikimedia projects and initiatives. Over the past 18 months, I have made more than 3,000 edits across multiple platforms, including Malayalam Wikipedia and Wikisource, contributing valuable content related to biodiversity and culture. My work focuses on improving the quality and accessibility of information, fostering collaboration, and supporting the growth of open knowledge within the Wikimedia community.
