About me
Hi! I'm from Karakalpakstan, and I contribute mostly to the Karakalpak Wikipedia. I'm really interested in history, especially the Napoleonic era — that's been my favorite topic for a long time.
I enjoy writing and translating articles because I believe that people should have access to knowledge in their native language. Besides editing Wikipedia, I also like learning languages, reading historical books, and sometimes just exploring random facts for fun.
I joined Wikimedia projects because I wanted to make a difference, even in a small way. Now it feels like being part of a global movement, and that's really motivating.
My work
Most of my work is focused on writing and expanding historical articles, especially those related to:
- Napoleon Bonaparte,
- the Napoleonic Wars,
- major historical figures and battles of the late 18th–early 19th century.
I’ve spent a lot of time developing a large article titled "Napoleon urısları" (Napoleon’s wars), and I'm still improving it to make it one of the most comprehensive articles in Karakalpak Wikipedia.
I also work on fixing red links, adding reliable sources, and improving the overall structure and quality of articles. I care about making sure the information is correct, useful, and readable for Karakalpak-speaking users.
My goal is to help Karakalpak Wikipedia grow — article by article.
