Maths as a subject has always enjoyed a love hate relationship with most people. While some find it boring others find it absolutely fascinating. A passion for mathematics however can take you far in a number of careers such as Information Technology, irrespective of whether you are still figuring out your future career or if you are already a software engineer. Maths is a subject that lends itself to constant discovery.

The Ramanujan Math Club at Infosys recognizes just this. This club was founded in February 2003 by Mr.Sriram Gopalan when he was at Infosys. While the club started out with 22 members, this club had grown massive big at Infosys with 10,000 members.

Now he had made RMC as Global. If you are interested to be a part of it, please click the link RMC

The club aims to promote the circulation of mathematical intellect to all like-minded people. Ramanujan Math club is also keen in encouraging interest in mathematics amongst the youth through a variety of interesting and youth oriented initiatives.

In line with its objectives the Ramanujan Math Club conducted the first ever “Infosys Math Olympiad Contest” for Infoscions across DCs and in select schools. In the case of students, ten schools from each DC was selected .The school management identified the top five students who, participate in the same.
