About me
I am proud to be an Associate Editor of the WikiJournal of Humanities and a dedicated Wikimedia trainer. I have had the opportunity to facilitate numerous online and offline engagements, and I am passionate about sharing my knowledge with others.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in History and International Studies from the University of Ilorin, and I have previously served as Vice President of Training and Development for the Wikimedia Fan Club (2022/2023).
I have led and facilitated several impactful Wikimedia projects, including AfroHistory: Promoting Nigerian Legends and Heroes, Wikimedia Awareness in Ogbomosho, Preservation of Owo Cultural Heritage, Wiki Health Articles 1.0 and 2.0, and Wikimedia Promotion in Akure and Lead City University.
As a member of the Historical Society of Nigeria, I am committed to nation building, heritage preservation, diplomacy, and humanitarian service – and I am excited to continue making a positive impact through my work.
Similarly, I am an SDGs advocate with the focus on Quality Education, Good Health and Wellbeing, Climate Action, and Peace Justice and Strong Institutions, where I strive to make the world a better, safer and sustainable place. I am a diplomat-in-building, and nation builder with a profound commitment to humanitarianism and an unwavering pursuit of truth.
As a perpetual optimist, I thrive on continuous learning and aspire to make a positive global impact. My journey in humanitarianism is grounded in civic responsibility, actively engaging with organizations like YALI Network Kwara, Girl Up Nigeria, Wikimedia Foundation, and Pick That Trash Kwara Chapter. These experiences have not only enriched me but continually fuel my drive for greater skills that will enhance my contributions to society.
Through diverse capacity-building courses, I have honed my leadership, communication, and public speaking skills. Passionate about volunteerism, I active member of YALI Network which reflects my unwavering commitment to humanitarian causes and the pursuit of meaningful change, embodying a dedication to fostering positive change and leaving a lasting impact on the world.
