This is a proposal for the creation of a new volunteer position within the foundation. This position could be either a single person, or a committee. Because of this ambiguity, i will refer to it as an "entity".

Purpose

The minority project advocate would be an entity responsible for interacting specifically with the various sister projects. This would serve as a mechanism to ensure that the relatively small sister projects would not be drowned out by the larger and more involving Wikipedia project. This would also be a way to ensure that the sister projects were given proper consideration by the board when special needs or situations arise.
