Tabik Pun, Tabik Ngalimpura!
I am a Wikimedia movement organizer, educator, mentor, and open-knowledge advocate from Lampung, Indonesia. My work focuses on cultural preservation, language documentation, community development, and knowledge equity, particularly for underrepresented languages, traditions, and local knowledge systems.
As the founder of Komunitas Wikimedia Bandar Lampung and an active member of Wikimedia Indonesia, I have led and coordinated several Wikimedia Foundation-supported initiatives dedicated to documenting and preserving Lampung's linguistic and cultural heritage. Through projects such as WikiJejama, WikiNgigel, and Wikipedia 25: From Lampung to the World, I work to transform community knowledge into freely accessible resources across Wikipedia, Wikimedia Commons, Wiktionary, Lingua Libre, and other Wikimedia platforms.
My experience includes project design, grant management, community organizing, partnership development, capacity building, and impact evaluation. I am particularly interested in developing sustainable, community-driven approaches to cultural documentation that combine academic rigor, ethical knowledge practices, and open-access principles. Through workshops, edit-a-thons, mentorship, and collaborations with educational and cultural institutions, I strive to empower communities to document, preserve, and share their own knowledge.
Beyond leading local initiatives, I also contribute to the broader Wikimedia movement through mentoring and international collaboration. I currently serve as a mentor in the EduWiki Hub Mentorship Program, supporting emerging Wikimedia communities and organizers in developing sustainable programs, strengthening organizational capacity, and expanding participation in the Wikimedia ecosystem. I have also contributed to movement learning and knowledge exchange as an online presenter at Wikimania 2025, and as a scholarship recipient at ESEAP Conference 2026 and WikiNusantara 2026. In addition, I am an active member of the ESEAP Youth Group, where I collaborate with emerging Wikimedia leaders across East, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific.
Outside the Wikimedia movement, I serve as a Star Master Teacher at Brain Academy by Ruangguru, teaching history, sociology, English, and social sciences. My educational work complements my Wikimedia activities by promoting critical thinking, digital literacy, and meaningful public participation in knowledge creation.
I believe that knowledge becomes more meaningful when communities are empowered to preserve, share, and shape their own narratives. Through my work, I hope to contribute to a more inclusive, diverse, and representative global knowledge ecosystem where local languages, cultures, and perspectives can thrive alongside humanity's shared knowledge commons.
