Pitabangan Anniversary 2025: Invitation

Pitabangan turns 1!

Wikimedia Community User Group Malaysia is celebrating Pitabangan's first anniversary alongside Celtic Knot Online Celebration Day 2025.

Pitabangan is an online activity for any Wikimedian to create articles in their respective language Wikipedia editions.

For this celebration, we will create content about all the previous host cities and countries that have been involved in previous Pitabangans throughout the past year: Waterford, Ireland; Tartu, Estonia; Mexico City, Mexico; Prague, Czech Republic; Manila, Philippines; Bogotá, Colombia; and Nairobi, Kenya.

Everyone is welcomed!

Join us from 23 to 25 September as we help each other contribute to free knowledge!

Thanks for the reply, I think if you could add a 'Instructions' or 'About' tab on WikiLokal and put the explanation there, it would be enough. And far be it from me to make recommendations for improvements, but if you got the languages translated [e.g. Bahasa Inggris (en) > English (en)], that would also be less intimidating for first-time users. - Danny Benjafield (WMDE) (talk) 13:21, 14 October 2025 (UTC)
