OK - But Why did I became invited to vote then ? And wat was the voting about ? And when ?

I have recentlly learned to upload pictures and give them the recommended licence (wich is easy to miss.) I have recentlly been in trouble with people from northern Sweden, and I mainly wright about the areas that is well known for me - if the articles are not up to standard. My geographical contributes is Scania (The X-danish County of Skåne in most southern Sweden), The Øresund-area, Copenhagen (from wich I live only about 15 UK miles away from - It's no problem, specially in the mornings when sun shines "on the danish side" from east. I visit Copenhagen for a couple of hours 1-2 times evry month. (It's my capital) I also visits Berlin 1-3 times evry year. To harbour and carferrys in Trelleborg (most southern city of Sweden) it takes an hour motorway drive. Then a nightferry with cabin - and You are in Rostock in the morning , and its a 2 hour 15 min Autobahn-drive to central Berlin. A three night journey of this kind costs only about 100 pound sterling including three nights in a 3.5 star hotel. Earlier we use to go to Hamburg instead but that state is full of pornographics and prostitutes - and after around 2002 we tried Berlin, wich is much nicer and has more to offer. But my favorit city is London, but it demands flying and is not so easy to reach (as Berlin). However I try to visit Britain evry second or third year, for football and everything else.

I am also very historical interested (European history fron the french revolution until today is my main period. And I'm a collector of book-encyklopedias from different times. What do You more want to know ? My name is Pontus Eriksson, born in 1964. Political I'm a bit left when it cames to how gouverments spend money and how they tax incomes. Otherwise a bit conservative (but not i the sence of support of any party). For instance I'm against that homosexuals can get married in churches - dued to my religious christian beliefs. Gay-marring in city halls does not concern me. It's only the in the churches I think it's very wrong, concerning what stands in the Holy Bible. Some things are eternal. I've written in swedish, english, danish and norwegian wikipedia. The english is very good - and people never gets threthened there. If I want a part I've contributed with I have several helper wich I notify about my contributions - and ask if they may help me with 100% correct language. I've never been denied help. One example is that both danish, swedish - and strangelly enough also english wikipedia had confused the english attacks on Copenhagen - in 1801 whith Lord Nelson as secon in command for the english navy/fleet that feared that the danish navy would be taken by Napoleon (although Napoleon didn't have such plans, as far as we know.) - and the danes would fight the french if Napoleon really did come. In 1807 the English navy (without the gone Nelson) landed troops and surrounded Copenhagen. It also had somthing to do with the Napoleon-wars , but exactlly how I'm unsure of. Hower the armytroops sat fire on Copenhagen with a new weapon. Gunpowder rockets containing phosphorus at the top, wich very easilly got all straw-roofs to burn, and with water it's almost impossible to pull out burning phosphorus. Destruction was not nice.Today theese two different events are separated in danish and english wikipedia concirning "Copenhagen". I also wrote about the ANZAC-troops disasters at Gallipoli 1915. And small things here and there. Often only on discussion pages, but still.

On danish Wikipedia my spelling was awfull (I speak, understan and read danisk almost as Swedish - but in school we only learned to write in swedish (And later in english, and even later in german, a language I can "manage" some how but not at writing level - thow I have collected info fom german pages, reading is far more easy then spelling.

After 7-8 uploads from my own camera or (in one case) a paint-picture of the three out of four Copenhagen transportsystem, with Re-trains (regional trains´, of wich some continue to Sweden, S-train (between underground and overground), Metro (between underground - and DLR in the Docklands.) A work I've updated.

For some reason sombody in northern Sweden delatad my picture fron Berlin S-Bahn only to cencur that in Berlin U-Bahn often goes on the ground and S-Bahn often goes in tunnels. This suited sign "Yger" badly for the reason that he had written that "S-Bahn is the 'pendeltåg' of Berlin". Pendeltåg is a kind of sururban transport for transport from from for subcities rather far away from Stockholm Central town, where thre only are three stops - while 95% of Berlin S-Bahn goes whithin the city and state of Berlin and about half the stations is inside the central Berlin (the inner ticket fare zone) and the lines is not of non-urban type as Stockholm pendeltåg (it might mean surburban trains or commuter trains) - but their function i only to get people far outside Stockholm to reach the centralstation or two other stations and NOT to transport people inside the city ! I mean that "Yger" (who lives in Stockholm) usees a "stockholm point of view" instead of a "global point of view". Also note theese "pendeltåg" exists in Stockholm area only - similar train in southern Sweden is called "pågatåg" - just another name. But I would never dream of calling the Berlin S-Bahn as "the Pågatåg of Berlin" I just notice that for S-Bahn in German citys and the S-trains in Copenhagen - has no equivalant type of train in Sweden. (There are thow an underground in Stockholm, but that is not a problem issue.

I wanted to upload a carferry (MS Stella Scarlett), the longest car ferry that ever have been in use in Øresund - but I wrote as It was. A screenshot from a Public postcard from an other site. I didn't know its copyright status - and wrote that. And all about 10-15 prictures I've uploaded I have written both what the picture shows and the purpose of the picture. Still I got strange questions of "what" and "purpose" - why ?? Please explain this to me - I'm going nuts.

I also begin to belive that the swedish wikipedia needs a second, southern swedish wikipedia - just as the norwegians have. Spelling of words are (today) equal in the whole Sweden - but there are more then thousand words that differs - an southern swedish pronounciation sounds more like danish. How Do I go further with building a southern swedish Wikipedia ? How did the norwegians managed to achive this ?

Hi, It's my fault I didn't explain you the reason you are not eligible to vote from the beginning. The reason is just because you don't have 600 edits dated before 1 November 2009. This is a requirement to vote as you can see here -=> Stewards/elections 2010/Guidelines. It has nothing to do with anything else. I can't comment on the other matters since I have no knowledge of what happens at sv.wiki and don't speak or understand sweedish. Thank you for your understanding. First - ofcourse I understood that You do not speak swedish or danish - but my text above is in readable english, I certainly hope. (And I'm by the way no troublemaker.) Thats a part of what I'm trying to explain above. Two importaint questions wich I hop You can explain easilly. 1. Is the warning on User Page written because I've done something wrong or off topic ? I have not seen it before and wonder why. But it might also be be that I've never looked here before.

2. Thow, I had rather a lot of questions that suddenly appeared somwhere. They concidered some of my uploaded pictures. Wich questions I answered as good as I can. - Thow I learned to observe the "licence line" after my first try. But I wonder where theese questions were. Is there some problem with any of my own pictures (I assume that the common Postal Card of a car ferry couldn't be used, thow I found it on an otheru website) Best reguards again - and I hope theese two qestions are easy to anwer. (1) The message is generic, everybody gets it when trying to create a page, it's just a warning so don't worry you didn't do anything wrong, it's just there so to know not to create content out of meta's scope.
