Wiki Loves Ramadan 2026: Writing Competition Results Submission

Greetings to the local organizers,

The efforts dedicated to the Wiki Loves Ramadan 2026 writing competition are highly valued. To move forward with the global campaign reporting, local results must be finalized.

Submission Deadline: All local winners and statistics must be published before 30 April 2026.

Results Documentation: Please ensure that the local winners and competition data are accurately reflected on the results page.

Required Statistics: The following data points are necessary for the final campaign report:

• Total number of participating users.
• Total number of articles created.
• Total number of articles accepted after review.

Assistance: If challenges with the review process or tracking tools are experienced, please share an update on the Meta-Wiki talk page or through the established Telegram communication channels.

Submission requires revision for Wiki Loves Ramadan 2026

Hi Bembety,

Thanks again for the work you’ve put into this. I had a closer look at your submission and, at the moment, we’re not able to accept it in its current form.

From your dashboard, there are 628 articles listed, but a significant portion of them are on English Wikipedia. Those can’t be counted here since the English Wikipedia campaign is being handled separately. Only contributions on your own local Wikipedia are eligible for this track.

There’s also an issue with how the results are presented. What we need is a clear list that shows, for each entry: the username, article name, basic details, and whether it’s accepted or rejected. Right now that breakdown isn’t there, so we can’t properly verify the contributions. If you can reorganize your submission in that format, we’ll be able to review it again.

On the Commons side, just to clarify that, Commons is treated separately within Wiki Loves Ramadan and has its own rules. If you’re participating there, you need to register under a participating country (not a community) and upload files through the Upload Wizard so the campaign template is applied automatically. That’s how uploads are tracked. As it stands, we’re not able to validate the uploads you’ve included under the campaign.
