Now, we have finalized the results from the TransVisibility Nigeria Challenge. You can find the results here!
On behalf of the organizer and our partner project: Queerpedia, I want to sincerely thank you for your contributions, which together with the other participants have created a tremendous and long lasting impact for the visibility of transgender persons on Wikipedia and Wikidata
I also want to congratulate you for your second place in the special prize category which is the Queerpedia Proze for Queer participants! The prize is a gift voucher of 30,000 Naira. Please write an email to w4hrnigeria@gmail.com, so we can coordinate around your prize!
To further show our appreciation of your efforts, we want to give you a barnstar for your participation – a praise of your efforts for a better visibility of Transgender topics on the Wikimedia projects!
We will also analyze the challenge and the way it works closely, to see how we can improve it for next time. It would be very valuable for us if you wanted to share your views on the challenge, especially when it comes to: safety measures, the point system, the focus, and the adding of the article list. - I'm thrilled to have secured second place in the Queerpedia Prize for Queer participants. It's wonderful to see that the efforts of all participants, including myself, have contributed to making a lasting impact.
