Notice box appearance
[edit]Hello! At every 2-3 edits in Meitei Wikipedia, there appears a notice box asking if I would like to transliterate the edit into Bengali script version. I want to do sometimes and not sometimes. But the notice box appearing every 2-3 edits become so disturbing, to click yes or no, every time frequently. Do you know how to turn off that notice box appearance completely in mni wiki? Haoreima (talk) 17:07, 18 February 2026 (UTC)
- Dear Haoreima, nice to have you after a long time. Yes, I need to disable the gadget globally. I would do this within tomorrow evening. Nokib Sarkar (talk) 17:11, 18 February 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you! Dhonyobad! :-) Haoreima (talk) 17:13, 18 February 2026 (UTC)
- @Haoreima I disabled the gadget invocation. Can you confirm the issue being resolved?
- Also, another side note, I cannot load your talk page in meitei wiki, seems like it is too large (as per parsoid team). I would recommend you archiving some older converstation so that people can add new message on your talk page without crashing the system. Best regards. Nokib Sarkar (talk) 17:33, 18 February 2026 (UTC)
- Yes, the issue seems to be resolved, as the notification box doesn't appear with the latest 3-4 consecutive edits. And thank you for the suggestion to archive. It's done. Now, the page is free from the crash. Hope you are doing well with this year's FnF season too. :-) Haoreima (talk) 17:54, 18 February 2026 (UTC)

wlf_2026_in campaign
[edit]Some questions:
- I see your summary in creating the campaign is "As per email", which confuses me as discussions establishing consensus for a campaign should be on-wiki. Was there discussion on the relevant wikis to run this banner?
- I cannot find an associated request page or calendar entry. Is this the outcome of the discussion on the main WLF request page, or what's the situation here?
- Why is this running on the English Wikipedia when there were clear comments on the WLF request page from multiple English Wikipedia functionaries noting concerns with the previous banner? And why is this running for logged-out users?
I see you've created banners for many individual locations, and have now also made a campaign for Egypt. What's going on here? If there are local discussions establishing consensus to run these, we can simply modify the earlier countries banner and re-enable it. If there are no such local discussions, these should not be running. Best regards, Vermont (🐿️—🏳️🌈) 16:18, 16 March 2026 (UTC)
