OTRS withdrawal[edit]

Rudget, I think it is a real shame you decided to withdraw your OTRS app., as I think you'd have made a friendly and helpful respondent no matter how old you are. I wish you luck in your future editing on Meta, as well as on en.wp. Best wishes, --Anonymous DissidentTalk 12:01, 3 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

otrs application[edit]

I strongly encourage you to reinstate your application. I would hate for your withdrawal to instill in others a w:chilling effect in that the otrs admin handling your application is the one accepting or declining and takes comments at his or her discretion. Respectfully, NonvocalScream 17:50, 3 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Considering that some people still retain doubts about my effectiveness as an adminstrator, I'm sure you can see why I have such low confidence in myself to continue with an application for OTRS. Rudget. 17:51, 3 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Status on the English Wikipedia does not a qualified or unqualified volunteer in other areas make necessarily. The local project does not *always* translate. The admin will take everything into consideration. The very worse that could happen is you get a "thank you for your application, but at this time..." and this is done privately. Additionally, only those in otrs will know if your application was accepted and are forbidden to disclose even that, barring your permission of course, if embarrassment is a concern.
