Discussion marked for translation[edit]
Hi, I notice that you marked Talk:IP Editing: Privacy Enhancement and Abuse Mitigation for translation. While I do wish we had a way to allow for multilingual discussions with translated comments, I don't think that marking an active talk page (with comments in multiple languages) for translation really works well with the current software. Instead, it will likely make discussions more difficult. Would it be okay if I reverted the change? --Yair rand (talk) 19:27, 18 August 2021 (UTC)
- Yes you can revert it. I will have to make the tagging specific to one section that a community member left in French and German. It's not needed for the whole page. Thank you for the alert. STei (WMF) (talk) 08:19, 19 August 2021 (UTC)

About IP Masking[edit]
Hi. Sorry to bother you. I wonder if you can tell me which way of electing the users in the new can-see-IP user group is to be accepted. The Chinese Wikipedia is setting a "Clerk" job for sockpuppet investigating. Since clerks are supposed to have access to unencrypted IPs, I guess considering the factors of IP Masking can save us time from start-over discussions and elections. Thanks. --魔琴 (talk) 07:21, 27 January 2022 (UTC)
- Hello @魔琴 , no this is not a bother at all. The information you seek is available here. Please let me know if you need anything else. –– STei (WMF) (talk) 15:57, 28 January 2022 (UTC)
