Who Am I ...???[edit]

Hi everyone. I m Sunny Sharma, a student of B.Tech. in Computer Science discipline in Dr. B.C. Roy Engineering College, Durgapur. I am a resident of Ghatsila',Jamshedpur'Jharkhand and I joined BCREC in 2006 after completing my ISC from [St. Joseph's Convent High School, Mosaboni] , Jamshedpur the same year..

DGPLUG - The best thing to have happened to me till date...[edit]

So, here I am doing all this wonderful stuff that, never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would do, someday in my life. Joining the Summer Training has thrown open a whole new world for me. It has been quite journey since I first heard the word "Fedora". I had hardly spent two months in the college when on fine day Kushal, Subhodip, Ria and Ajitesh entered our class. They were looking for volunteers who would like to learn and share something about Linux...

I always wanted to do something different and this lead me to the door of dgplug.Though by the end of 2nd semester i knew about it but actually i started working on it by the end of 3rd semester. You know i was the only guy in my class to stand for it and truly speaking it was preety advantageous for me.I began my journey with Fedora which has been full of ups and downs till now. It has been a bumpy road but I am not willing to give up yet. At last after the Summer Training I did my first project and contributed Fedora by Localising glade3 in hindi l10n.gnome.org/module/glade3. It was really a great fun.For the time being i also learnt a few linux commands and now i am going through Python and believe me its very interesting.

A Fedora Ambassador[edit]

Being an active user of Fedora, it would have been a real shame if I had not joined the Ambassadors Team to spread this wonderful thing across to whoever I can. Thus, joining this team was inevitable and, now, being the local co-ordinator of the Linux User Group of Durgapur, DGPLUG , I would really be grateful if I could do something for it.
