XReport

[edit]

On GSR, XReport detects users who were reported on a wiki and doesn't allow another report of the same user from a different wiki because it detects that the user was already reported. Is this intentional? Plutus 💬 🎃 Fortune favors the curious 13:25, 24 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

It's not. I'll take a look. Thanks for reporting! TenWhile6 19:22, 24 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

Account blocked

[edit]

Hello, may I know which content did I get blocked for? I am part of Kent Wikimedia Club in Sabah, Malaysia, focusing on editing content on Kadazandusun Wikipedia. If I did anything wrong at the time of blocking, it might have been unintentional due to being a new editor. I was trying to update content in our Wikimedia club page. I hope my block can be reconsidered. If you need verification for my membership, I can provide confirmation from our User Group in Malaysia. Effionie Ronnie (talk) 05:31, 18 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

Hello Effionie Ronnie, you should already know why you got blocked, because Minorax explained it.
You can still edit pages on Meta-Wiki right now, but you are not able to create new pages. Do you need to create new pages? Can you give me an example? And: have you read the meta:Inclusion policy? If so, I don‘t have any problems unblocking you. TenWhile6 09:42, 18 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
Yes, I am not fluent in English and I didn't know how to see the notifications because at the time I was a new user. I was in a Wikimedia workshop and mistakenly edited on Meta-Wiki instead. Currently I am more knowledgeable, but I also had my user group facilitators translate my response for me. I understand the inclusion policy and will not create unrelated pages on Meta-Wiki. I will only be doing edits for my Wiki Club reporting and events. My current target is to be able to edit my own userpage to add info on my involvement in the Wiki Club. @Effionie Ronnie: Sounds good. I‘ve unblocked you. Don‘t hesitate to ask if you have any questions especially when creating new pages in the namespace 0. TenWhile6 10:29, 19 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
