Privacy Policy

[edit]

This section describes how and why WWC 2023 organizers collect, use, and share information we receive from survey respondents.

Method of Surveying

[edit]

We use third-party surveying tools to conduct our surveys. Depending on which tool is being used, each respective service is governed by their own terms of services and privacy policies.

Service we commonly use is listed below with the respective terms and privacy policy:

Purpose of Surveying

[edit]

The purposes of our surveys are more specifically defined in the surveys themselves.

We typically survey users in order to identify respondent's interests and preferences in order to more effectively plan the event.

Information We Collect

[edit]

Our surveys collect responses that participants provide to questions asked. All of our surveys will only record responses after completion; survey participants can quit the survey before completion and answers will not be recorded.

Information Sharing

[edit]

Comprehensive raw survey results are never shared publicly. Comprehensive raw survey results are only shared and reviewed by Women Camp organizers, and, when needed, Wikimedia Foundation employees and other Wikimedia affiliates that we may be working with. We make every effort to share comprehensive raw results with as few parties as necessary, and to strip any identifying data unless necessary.

Survey statistics, analysis, and partial answers may be shared publicly, but is never done so when identifying information may be revealed.

Other Information

[edit]

By submitting responses to Women Camp surveys, you agree to the transfer, storage, and use of submitted information to be used to carry out the purposes and objectives discussed above and within each survey and so as for each fields in different surveys.
