Meet the Advisory Board Members!
[edit]Thanks to all the people that have applied for being part of the Advisory Board. The Advisory Board is a key component of our project, helping us think through some of the critical aspects of the development and community outreach. We're very thankful for their contributions to our work!

Sam Walton is a Product Manager at the Wikimedia Foundation where he has been working on The Wikipedia Library project, as well as being a long time Wikipedia editor at the English Wikipedia.

João Alexandre Peschanski serves on the boards of the Wikimedia affiliates Wiki Movimento Brasil and Wikipedia & Education User Group, respectively as chair and membership admin.

Pru Mitchell is an education research librarian working in repository management and metadata workflows. She serves on the Wikimedia Australia committee.

Frederick Noronha (FN) is an alternative book publisher, journalist, Wikipedian and photographer, who has been part of and written on the Free/Open Source Software movement, Creative Commons, Open Access and related social media knowledge-sharing networks in South Asia since the past 15-25 years.

Éder Porto is a Products and Resources Manager at the Wiki Movimento Brasil where he develops tools and processes for Wiki activities and projects.

Peter Coombe is a long time WikiGnome, primarily on the English Wikipedia, and a developer at the Wikimedia Foundation.

Kerry Raymond is a long-time Australian contributor to English Wikipedia and Commons. She is involved in automated and semi-automated generation of Wikipedia content from CC-BY websites and open data repositories. She is a member of Wikimedia Australia where she does new user training and event support.

Strainu is a long time Wikipedian and a founding member of Wikimedians of Romania and Moldavia. He inspired the project idea for Web2Cit in a series of conversations with Diego.
