Western Cape Libraries edit-a-thon
The Western Cape Libraries edit-a-thon is a GLAM edit-a-thon hosted by Wikimedia ZA in partnership with LIASA (Library and Information Association of SA) to improve the content, quality and number of artifices on libraries in the Western Cape province of South Africa. Whilst also encouraging librarians in the province to contribute and edit Wikipedia. The edit-a-thon invites librarians to write articles on Wikipedia about their respective libraries or libraries or other literary related organisations that they are involved in.
The edit-a-thons typically lasted for three an a half hours every Saturday.
