WikiBoost
WikiBoost is a project that aims to enhance and boost the knowledge of Wikimedia projects among the Nigerian community. The project's objective is to improve the Wikimedia knowledge of both experienced editors and newbies. With a focus on community engagement and collaboration, WikiBoost strives to make a real difference in the Wikimedia Nigeria community and beyond.
Background[edit]
WikiBoost is a project that was born out of the realization that many editors on Wikipedia and its sister projects lack basic knowledge and understanding of the content they are contributing to and the poor rate of engagements to discussions. This gap in knowledge often results in low engagements to discussion and poor editing knowledge.
The goal of WikiBoost is not just to help current editors improve their contributions, but also to attract new editors to start contributing to the Wikimedia projects. By providing a platform that is easy to use and accessible to all, WikiBoost hopes to create a community of knowledgeable and dedicated editors who are committed to providing accurate and reliable information on Wikipedia and its sister projects.
Through its innovative approach to education and training, WikiBoost is helping to bridge the gap between editors and the content they are contributing to. With its focus on accuracy, reliability, and accessibility, WikiBoost is poised to become a valuable resource for editors and researchers alike.
