I will be also sharing experience of Gujarati community regarding copyrights and challenges we faced.

How does it connect with the WCI 2023 theme/focus

[edit]
  • The lecture will be specifically tailored to copyrights in India (which mostly also applies to other SAARC countries too). Most Indian community members have limited knowledge on copyrights in India which affects their work on Wikipedia, Wikisource and Commons in particular. The lecture will help them navigate copyright issues. The experience of Gujarati community will help other community in applying copyright and exploring use of copyright-free works.
