It is a project to grant access and inclusion of persons with disabilities PWD in South West and North Central region of Nigeria. We are looking at embracing them into the Movement as a whole, not limiting it to editing or edithatons but assisting in maximizing opportunities in the Wikimedia Movement. WikiEmbrace is all about Accessibilty, Social Inclusion and Empowerment of PWDs. WikiEmbrace aims to fufill the slogan of Wikipedia and other sister project, an encyclopedia everyone can edit as we embrace and acknowledge the community of as part of the movement.

Location: Physical socially distanced event in Lagos and Ilorin with online follow up.

Date: 6th and 24th August 2021

How to participate[edit]

1 Sign in or Create a New Account on Wikipedia.

2 Enroll on the WikiEmbrace 2021 Outreach Dashboard to track your contributions. (coming soon).

3 Sign up in the participants section on this page. (coming soon)

4 List the articles created or improved under the Articles created/improved section.

5 Attend the opening session on Thursday, 10th and closing session on Friday, 12th August, 2021

3 Upload image(s) of people living with disabilites, their daily life or images representing this).
