The WikiForHumanRights 2023 program is aimed at writing about human rights, environmental health, and diverse communities impacted by environmental issues around the world.

It is a global writing contest aimed at creating and improving existing articles across various Wikimedia projects related to human rights and topics related to the triple planetary crises: Climate Change, Pollution and Biodiversity.

At the University Of Ilorin Wikimedia Club, emphasis will be laid on available Wikimedia platforms; to add to existing information on environmental health in Nigeria, as well as to add undocumented catalogues of information relating to the theme, Right To A Healthy Environment.

'WikiForHumanRights 2023 in Nigeria supports the WikiForHumanRights with a national campaign in Nigeria to improve and contribute to Wikipedia, stories of rights which enable safe and stable climate, healthy ecosystems and a non-toxic Environment in Nigeria.

Hence, stories of Nigerian environmental defenders, Nigerian legal systems/treaties about human rights and environmental rights, and Nigerian organizations championing environmental protection among others will be improved by participants.
