Report on the Participation of Ndahiro derrick at WikiIndaba 2023 in Agadir, Morocco
Overview[edit]
Attending this year's WikiIndaba has been one of the interesting experiences this year. First , I want to recognize the efforts put in by the Organizing team in Morocco and Wiscom. This year's Wiki Indaba gave me a chance to learn more about other Wikipedia sister projects that other individuals are implementing hence an opportunity for partnership.
The conference also paved a way for me to understand more about the Africa Agenda that is being drafted by African Wikimedians to address issues affecting them and proposed solutions.
My contributions : I had to present the learnings from 2022 Indaba conference that took place in Kigali. I also facilitated the Africa Agenda prioritization session during the Afrika Baraza which paved a way for the attendees to have a deeper understanding of what the Africa agenda is about and contribute to it .
