Wikinews is a vital platform that offers an opportunity to disseminate information in a language that reaches a wider audience. The addition of audio spoken news to news articles in Gungbe Wikinews is making it possible to reach the unlearned. Gungbe Wikinews serves as a beacon for other African language communities, providing a model of how African languages can be used in online media. |
