Abstract: The West Africa Hub is a network of Wikimedia affiliates in West Africa. Its purpose is to collaborate on identifying opportunities and addressing common challenges with local solutions. The workshop will bring together West Africa Wikimedia affiliate leaders to discuss the region's specific opportunities, challenges, and solutions and how to work and collaborate effectively. At the end of the conversation, we plan for the panel to metamorphose into a more robust forum where the leaders can form a bond to steer the affairs of the Hub.			Audience : Medium

How will this session be beneficial for the communities in the region? It serves as a means to further the ongoing conversation around the establishment of the Needs and purpose of the West Africa Hub among the established affiliates in the region. It's an avenue to showcase the spirit of collaboration among Wikimedia stakeholders in West Africa. It is an extension of the region's implementation of some of the outcomes of Movement Strategy 2030.
