Abstract:
In Africa, emerging communities are increasingly striving to cultivate and support Wikimedians dedicated to bridging diverse knowledge and contributor gaps. Wikimedia Foundation funds have been instrumental in funding initiatives aimed at addressing these gaps and fostering community development and growth. This round table discussion will highlight the progress made in funding these regional efforts. We will explore the impactful outcomes achieved through this funding and hear from speakers about specific initiatives that have successfully targeted and closed particular gaps. |
