Abstract:
The Universal code of Conduct Coordinating Committee (U4C) is a global community group dedicated to providing an equitable and consistent implementation of the UCoC. The U4C, to do its work efficiently, as mandated by the U4C charter and the UCoC Enforcement guidelines will have to collaborate with the community - particularly communities with no governance structures or adjudication processes. The committee is now set up and functional, thus, this session will be a good opportunity to highlight the committee’s goals, functions, and processes to African communities. Since the U4C will be in its early operational stages at this time, this session will be a good opportunity to discuss and gather insights and input from community members on how they envision the U4C will impact and serve their communities. This will help shape and influence the work and impact of the U4C. |
