This workshop unites Wikimedians, heritage professionals, and living heritage coordinators to celebrate living heritage and document it on Wikipedia. Participants will share ideas, experiences, and plan activities for the rest of the year to document intangible cultural practices. |

| How will this session be beneficial for the communities in the region?
This project fights cultural homogenization by amplifying local and indigenous voices worldwide. It empowers communities to share their unique identities by documenting living traditions – the practices that bridge past and present. Through collaboration with UNESCO, Wikimedia affiliates, and heritage experts, the project fosters a global exchange of knowledge, allowing participants to learn the best ways to safeguard, document, and share these irreplaceable cultural practices. | |||
