| Description :
A facilitated group session with the Web Foundation and a group of Wikimedians who have expressed an interest in working on gender gap, digital rights and gender issues or are already working in this space. The meetup is a bi-directional exchange of information where Wikimedians and the Web Foundation both share the work they are doing in Africa. The discussion will draw upon trends, areas of concern, and will sketch out a preliminary potential plan of action based on mutual areas of interest concern. It will also include what the Web Foundation can do to support the work of Wikimedians and vice versa. Notes from the session. |
