Description :

Scribe is an editing tool for lower-resourced language Wikipedias. It gives a starting point to create an article by suggesting section titles (based on existing Wikipedia articles in the language) and references. We conducted a series of research interviews to understand how editors create references on Wikipedia, and created a tool that aims to support new editors to easily adapt to the Wikipedia workflow. Scribe is still under development; it is currently enabled as a gadget on Arabic and Catalan Wikipedia for a set of test Wikipedia articles. We want to present to you the current state of the Scribe project, what you need to enable it in your Wikipedia, and future directions for the project.
