Connections made

[edit]

I have made meaningful connection with other connections. I have made connection with Ahroni for translating Wikipedia articles in local languages. I have also made connections with other Wikipedian who are from different libraries on connecting

Learning points

[edit]

I have learned the necessary requirements to start a community user group. And I am exited to go back to my community, encourage all community members to contribute so that we can have surpass the equivalent edits to be recorgnised as a user Group. Although this won't be the main focus of the user group, it is required for the first steps to get the affiliate status. I was also motivated by other user groups and chapters who are eshtablished.

Outcome

[edit]

To apply for various rapid grants such as Wiki Loves Women and Wiki Loves Africa to aid in assisting the participants to keep editing and to learn more skills that I learned from the conference. This will also keep and ensure that our activities of the local community continues and the participants are motivated to improve the Namibian narratives on Wikipedia and its sister projects.
