WikiWomen's User Group/Reports/2024

The WikiWomen's User Group was recognized as a Wikimedia user group on July 19, 2015. This report outlines the accomplishments and activities supported by the group between July 1, 2023 and June 30, 2024.

Activities

• Sharing news, advice, and resources via Telegram group and talk page. We share news about women-centered projects, programs, and events they're organizing, to help others know what's happening.
• Chocmilk03 (Emma) and JasDolt (Jas) attended WikiMania 2023 in August 2023 on behalf of the WikiWomen's User Group.
• In March 2024, supporting Les sans pagEs with the English version of the Francophone Women★ Writers Fortnight 2024, leading to the creation of over 20 articles about Francophone women writers on English Wikipedia (see project page here and Fountain tool here).
