Wiki Camp Vanadzor 2014

Wiki Camp 2014 Vanadzor is being organized by Wikimedia Armenia in the city of Vanadzor, in Armenia. This educational project aims to encourage and empower young Wikipedians and Education program leaders.

To apply Who can participate Young Wikipedians: Active Wikipedia or other Wikimedia project editor Ages 14-21 Eager to meet fellow Wikipedians and participate in Wiki-workshops Education program leaders: Involved in Wikipedia Education program in your country. Willing to lead and coordinate participants from your country. Date & time Wiki Camp will take place in two phases. WikiCamp Phase 1: July 6–20, 2014 WikiCamp Phase 2: August 12–26, 2014 For WikiCamp phase 2 - Registration is open from March 15 and will close on August 15. Fee & scholarships Participation to the 14 days will cost 260 USD per participant. A limited number of scholarships is available for active Wikipedians. For non-Armenian this scholarship covers also travel costs. Please make a note in your registration that you want to get a scholarship. Location and venue Wiki Camp will take place in a Summer house close to the city of Vanadzor, in a green mountainous area. The venue constists of 8 dorms for 12-15 students each and a large hall (200m2) and other event rooms. The bathrooms and shower-rooms are outside the main building.
