Wiki Club SJCS, Bhopal is an extra-curricular club, formed by Sukeerti at St Joseph's Co-Ed School, Bhopal. The club will create awareness about the Wikimedia projects and encourage active participation from students (from other schools also).

  • Content Creation: Encouraging students/participants to write and contribute articles on relevant topics, photography, audio content creation, adding reliable sources and references to ensure the content's accuracy and credibility.
  • Collaborative Projects: Organizing group projects where students work together to improve existing Wikipedia articles or create new ones on specific themes or subjects.
  • Edit-a-thons: Hosting events where participants, often with the guidance of experienced editors, focus on editing articles within a set timeframe, aiming to improve content quality or cover particular topics comprehensively.
  • Outreach and Promotion: Spreading awareness about the importance of open knowledge and the role of Wikipedia in education. This can involve organizing talks, presentations, or campaigns within the campus or local community.
  • Training and Resources: Providing resources, guides, and training materials to club members to enhance their editing skills and understanding of Wikipedia's guidelines.
