In a friend's birthday party, we had a discussion related to cricket, and suddenly this incident happened with me:
A friend said to another friend : You know so much, are you Wikipedia?
Another friend: Sailesh is here, Don't say anything about Wikipedia

During the interview for my current job, I told my boss that I contribute to Wikipedia and that I was participating in the #100WikiDays challenge. A month later, we were all having lunch together and we noticed a plantain tree was behind our table. Someone said "nice, we have a banana tree!" and I corrected her, explaining that plantains have different size and shape, and they need to be cooked before eating due to starch. My coworker said "you're just making this up since I'm american and you're from a tropical country, do you?"

And my boss said, "shut up, he writes on Wikipedia. If he says that is a plantain true, he must know why"

Some people were discussing about Adnan Sami's citizenship. They were arguing if the singer is a citizen of Pakistan or India. I overheard the discussion, and interrupted them that he is a citizen of Canada (2013). They started laughing at me for I have cracked some joke, they told me to check 'Wikipedia'. I told them, I have written half of the article.

There was two minutes of silence in the room.

At a dinner party, there was a discussion about the translation of an English word into Hindi and one of my friend pointed at me and said,"Ask her she is Hindi Wikipedia".
