Intro/ Problem statement[edit]

Sudan is highly affected by climate change and the need to increase the community awearness towards this issues is critical. This project is aiming to contribute towards increasing the number of active users in Sudan by encouraging new users to participate in highlighting issues related to the right to a healthy environment as a Human Right. The project will work on building capacity of new users and enhance their knowledge of Human Right and Right to healthy environment. The project is building partnership with Local NGOs and initiatives working on environmental rights. University Students, Journalist and members of the Sudanese Woman Cyclist. We believe that having A Sudanese member UN's Youth Advisory Group on Climate Change is an opportunity to highlight the role of youth in leading the future informed decisions related to climate change Objectives To train Environmental Activits and people passionate about climate change about contributing to Wikimedia projects.

Objectives[edit]

To train local NGOS staff working on Environmental issues on wikimedia projects.
To educate and encourage Sudanese photographers to contribute to Commons about Climate Change pictures.
To Help contributors promote wikimedia community and networking with existing commuities of Human Right activists
