Wiki Loves Librarians, Kaduna

Introduction

This project will create awareness among librarians, students and academics in Kaduna on the importance of Wikimedia projects especially as tools for library services in 21 century digital literacy skills. Its aimed at training new and existing editors to gain new active members for Wikimedia Kaduna network. The campaign will show librarians how to use Wikipedia and wikicommons in Library services.

Project Goals

1. To train Librarians and students on the importance of Wikipedia in Library services.
2. Make participants understand the Creative policies and best practices.
3. It provide new editors and existing editors with necessary tool needed for efficiency.
4. To Train participants on Wikicommons
